On a rocky cliff overlooking the Mediterranean Sea, the Dior Resort Show 2016 was showcased at the Palais Bulles, the “Bubble Palace” in Theoule-Sur-Mer in Southeastern France. Designed by architect Antti Lovag, the Palace was built between 1975 to 1989, and is home to design Pierre Cardin, who once worked for Monsieur Christian Dior himself. It’s playful and spontaneous form became the perfect backdrop for Dior’s new Resort collection.

Louis Vuitton showed it’s Cruise Collection to guests at the Lautner-designed former home of Bob and Dolores Hope in Palm Springs. The collection was inspired and reminiscent of “Xena Warrior Princess” and “Game of Thrones” which was a compliment to the “Space Age” Californian home. The house was built to resemble a volcano, featuring a concrete roof with a hole in the center to enable light to enter through the central courtyard.
